Ronald Ssembajwe

WP 2 PhD researcher

Ronald Ssembajwe is a PhD researcher in WP 2: Co-producing Actionable Weather & Climate Information. He is based at Wageningen University.

Ronald is an environmental scientist, researcher and techprenuer with a background in meteorology. His research spans the agro and hydroclimate continuums and their socio-economic interactions. His special interest in Climares stems from the fact that as a weatherman, he has constantly experienced the huge gap and challenge thereof, for enhancing applicability of weather and climate info services and products. With Climares and its rich stakeholder consortium, he finds this challenge attemptable. Ronald's research will thus focus on co-creating and co-designing impact-based forecasting frameworks for the most vulnerable groups in Africa.
