Anta Betty Kanteye

WP 7 PhD researcher

Anta Betty Kanteye is a PhD researcher in WP 7: Pastoralists' Weather – and Climate-related Knowledge ∞ Action Networks. She works with pastoralists in Senegal and is based at both Cheikh Anta Diop University and Maastricht University.

Anta Betty is a sociologist researcher. She studied socio-anthropology at Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar where she obtained both her license and master degree. She worked as an associate researcher in health and environment at the Center of clinic research and formation of Fann and thereafter as a sociologist researcher in health, gender and numeric at Yux design.

She is really passionate about research, particularly about subjects with a big social impact. Her academic and professional goals are to be useful for humanity across her knowledge. Working on resilience to climate change is a wonderful occasion for her to work on these goals and to follow her passion to accompany people to fight together against climate change.
